Welcome back to my blog!! Last time, I wrote about souvenirs from Britain. It was interesting and We could know about Britain more. I’m going to write about food and restaurants there at this time☺️! I love to eat so I’m excited to write about food today.🙌 What do you know about British food? Maybe, they are not good things. Aren’t they? I heard that British food is not good taste or something like that. However, actually it’s not true now. It’s different now. I’m going to introduce 5 foods in Britain and restaurants which you can eat them.
1. Fish and chips 🐟🍟
Perhaps this is the most popular of all British meals. It’s cheap and maybe you can eat almost everywhere. There are fish that is deep-fried in a crispy batter served with fat golden chips on the side. By the way, chips mean french fries in Britain. People think it’s similar to Japanese fish fries but actually it’s more similar to tempura. The taste is different but the texture is similar so if you like tempura, you should try!😉😉

Fish City – Belfast🐠
You can eat delicious fish and chips at Fish City. The restaurant has already won a slew of awards – including Regional Fish and Chip Shop of the Year in 2015. A large fish and chips on the evening menu costs £16.95. Diners can also delve into oysters or fish tacos. Wanna eat fish and chips? Let’s go to Fish City!!

2. Sticky Toffee Pudding 🍮
If you like deserts, you should try to eat Sticky Toffee Pudding!! This is really really sweet so it’s might be heavy-sweet for some people. When you eat it, you suddenly realize it has a lot of butter and sugar but actually it has brown sugar and dates. You can eat any other deserts in Japan but it is difficult to find Sticky Toffee Pudding. So, I recommend you to try it!😊🍬🍮

Hawksmoor 🥂
You can eat a great Sticky Toffee Pudding at Hawksmoor! It is a steak house with cocktail bar in Britain. There are 5 restaurants there. You can eat sticky toffee pudding with ice cream there and the cost is £7.50.

3. English Breakfast 🥪🍳
You need to eat it at least once! Almost every hotel and B&B have English breakfast menu. There are toasts, fried eggs, sliced tomatoes, mushrooms and bacon or sausages. Depending on the restaurant, you can choose fried eggs, omelette or scrambled eggs. Actually, you can eat it at popular prices at some pubs. Britain is famous for high cost but you can eat it easily. 🍽🙌

E. Pellicci
If you want to eat English breakfast, you should go to E. Pellicci. Open since 1900, it has been serving full fry ups for over a century and is now an East End landmark. The cafe is still in the hands of the same family who opened it, so it’s not surprise that the small, humble space is brimming with history and an endearing atmosphere.

4. Black Pudding 🍖
Maybe, some people don’t like this food because it’s like sausages but actually it’s made for pig’s blood. It’s kind of scary to eat. 😨🥶 However, there are not so many opportunities to eat it in Japan. So, if you go to Britain, it’s good to try! I think Japanese don’t eat any blood. The sausages look really black. Sometimes, it is served as a breakfast.🌅

Currywurst at German Gymnasium Grand Cafe☕️
If you want to try to eat black pudding, I recommend this restaurant! Handmade to a traditional method, curried pork sausage is served sliced and topped with a rich, curried tomato sauce and triple cooked chips. A street food staple in grand surroundings.

5. Sunday Roast 🍖
Sunday Roast is chicken, beef or lamb chops with french fries or mashed potatoes. It is only Sunday’s menu as the name suggests. Almost pubs have this menu. Some restaurants serve meat with Yorkshire puddings. They are like cream puff skin.

Blacklock Soho
Blacklock soho proclaims that its roasts are “almost as good as mum’s”, and who are we to argue. Its meats are sourced from a family farm in Cornwall, with chops the focus during the week. But come Sunday, its choice of beef, lamb or pork cooked over coals and oak, make it one of the best roasts in London.
